The Surrounding Area

 

We are situated approximately 6 miles from Market Drayton , conveniently placed a few miles off the A41 and within half an hour or so of the motorway network. Market Drayton has a weekly street market on Wednesdays and a range of supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and entertainment facilities, including a swimming pool and cinema.

Newport is around 8 miles away and boasts pubs, cocktail bars , three supermarkets and a good range of speciality shops.

 

Within walking distance is the village of Cheswardine which boasts two pubs and a community shop selling basic groceries, fresh bread and newspapers.

 

At Bridge 55 the Wharf Tavern at Goldstone offers a good range of food and is especially renowned for its steaks.
